Case Study

Oil Search

I recently completed a large website redesign for one of Papua New Guinea's biggest employers, Oil Search.

Working with a fellow UXer, we worked alongside business stakeholders to get a better understanding of the existing website's problems and pain points and focusing in on the new site's goals and objectives.

  • I started with a goals and objectives session with the client
  • Reviewed analytics of the current website to get a clear picture of their users and what they're doing on the site
  • Developed and designed initial "look and feel moodboards" to show the client some interface, colour, typography and layout ideas
  • Designed wireframes which incorporate research findings and presented these to the client for review

My role

I was entrusted with running client workshops, gathering goals and objectives, presenting wireframes, moodboards and finished designs to the client, along with managing their changes and stakeholder involvements.

I worked closely with a large team of developers to ensure that the proposed design direction and functionality was adhered to and not lost during the development phase.
